Picking station
The picking station is used to prepare the screw from the automatic feeder for the operator. The screws can thus be counted, measured and cleaned of impurities before manual screwdriving. The screws are then picked up by the operator using one of the following options:
- in the palm of the hand
- into the removal tray
- into the removal bed
Principle of function
At the operator's request (pressing the touch button), the screw is prepared for the operator in such a way as to make its removal as easy as possible and thus quick and ergonomic.
Up to six picking stations can be connected to a single screw feeder to serve several workplaces at the same time.
Key Features
Ergonomic design of the manual station
Ability to count, measure and clean screws
Elimination bonus part in product
Accelerating manual screwdriving
Variants of picking stations:
Picking from nest
This picking station is designed for use with a vacuum nozzle or bit extension. The screw is picked up and fastened without the need for the operator’s second hand. The other hand remains free to hold the product or perform other tasks.
Picking from bowl
A screw or a defined number of screws are fed into the bowl when the palm of the hand is brought under the sensor. Bowl is shaped to orient the screw to the same position each time, making it easier for the operator to remove it.
Presenting in the palm
One or a defined number of screws are fed into the operator's palm after placing the hand under the sensor. The operator can start screwing immediately. The screw can be cleaned from dust from the feeder and measured. Up to six feeders can be fed from one feeder in this way.
