Newly installed robotic cell with JHV screwing system is used for semi-automatic assembly of BMW cars´components. The station is designed for 1 operator, other operations are fully automatic, including camera control, which is located directly on the 6-axis KUKA robot. The main part of the robotic cell is the screwing system supplied by our subsidiary JHV-SOLUTIONS. System is delivered in classic configuration with a vibrating feeder with screw control. The DESSOUTERR system is used to drive the spindle and evaluate other parameters.

We installed a new semi-automatic line for a customer from the automotive industry, which produces battery covers for electric BMW cars. The line layout is 20 x 30 m and 10 KUKA robots were used there. The production line starts with a giant press with a force of three thousand tons! Another interesting feature is the 6-axis KUKA robot, located on the seventh axis, which is 17 meters long. This axis is the backbone of the entire line and ensures the handling of the part to all stations. This line includes also 2 CNC centers for parts machining, a leak tester, an optical measuring station and the final parts packaging.
